2009 QUEENSLAND RETRIEVING DOG OF THE YEAR

 

This competition encompassed all CCCQ sanctioned retrieving trials conducted by Affiliated Clubs during 2009 for Qld. resident Gundogs. A member of the RAFT subcommittee compiled the results from marked catalogues.

 

The Perpetual Trophy was presented by Georgina Gollé, Chair of the RAFT Subcommittee of the CCCQ, at the Christmas/Trophy Presentation function held by Field & Retrieving Association for Gundogs Inc on 12^th December 2009.

 

The RAFT subcommittee wish to thank FRA for the opportunity to present this trophy in the company of supporters and those handlers who with their dogs competed for this prestigious award this year.

 

It is with great pleasure that we announce the winner – RTCH. GARJANHAUF ERROL (Errol), Labrador dog, owned and trained by Sam Haigh. Errol successfully demonstrated a sterling effort throughout the 2009 trialling season, and won by a conclusive margin, as indicated by the points.
